Al Poiencot, founded Elliant Technologies in 2005 when he realized that there was a need for dealership internet capability that would truly be customer-centric. et automotive network was founded on the philosophy that dealer tools should be simple, effective, and above all, easy to use.

Al has over twenty-five years experience in all aspects of motor vehicle operations. Most recently, as Director of Service Operations, for the Hinkle Automotive Management Co., (Hamco), he managed operations for San Diego Volvo, South County Volvo, Palm Springs Volvo, Palm Springs Subaru, Poway Chrysler-Jeep and Poway Dodge in Southern California. Al holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, as well as an MBA from A. B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University.  He is currently pursuing a Jurist Doctorate in Law through the William Howard Taft University Law School.

Karen Merriman joined Elliant Technologies in 2006. As a solution-oriented visionary, she is committed to the automotive industry – with a focus on the success of the dealer. Karen also leads our business development team.

Karen has extensive experience on both wholesale and retail level in sales, customer service, and finance with over 25 years in the automotive business. Most recently she was with Porsche Cars of North America as General Manager where she was recognized as a partner in, and strategic leader of, global cross-functional competency teams. Both a strategist and a practitioner, Karen is able to respond quickly to the needs of the client and the organization. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach, California. She also holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Amberton University in Dallas, Texas.
